Below you find all practical information about the Antwerp Marathon.

- 10h00 : Start Antwerp Marathon & Antwerp Relay Marathon (official closing time start: 10h10)
- 15h40 : Official closing time finish

Pick-up starter pack: Madrasstraat
1 week before the event, individually registered participants will receive a confirmation email with their personalised number (when subscribed until August 22) or an e-ticket. With this personal number or e-ticket, participants can pick up their participant package at the pre-registration desk at the Madrasstraat on Saturday September 10 or Sunday September 11.

- Electronic chip at the back of the race number ensuring correct time registration

Supplies Antwerp Marathon:
Water and isotonic sports drinks will be provided at approximately every 5 km. There will be 3 more supply stations along the route (kilometres 28, 32, 38) offering water.
There will be bananas at kilometres 5, 15, 25, 30 and 35. High-quality supplies will be handed out at the finish.
There are toilets at every supply station.
Supplies Antwerp Half Marathon:
Water and isotonic sports drinks will be provided at approximately every 5 km. There will be 2 more supply stations along the route (kilometres 11.5 and 17) offering water.

There are toilets at every supply station.
Starting at 8h you can drop of your bag at the sports bag storage tent at Napoleonkaai. When you hand in your sports bag, a sticker with a number will be stuck on your race number. The same numbered sticker will be placed on your sports bag. After the run you can only get your bag back upon showing your race number with this sticker.
Any loose items of clothing or plastic bags will not be accepted. So make sure that you bring a (sports) bag that you can close to store all your belongings in.

A number of very experienced, mainly Belgian ultra-runners led by Marnix Callewaert, will fulfil the role of pacers for the Antwerp Marathon.
The pacers will easily be recognizable in their start boxes thanks to their coloured flags:

A bracelet is provided for each participant: it shows the split times per kilometre you have to run to reach your desired finishing time. A useful reminder during the race, that you simply wear around your wrist! These straps are free to pick up on Saturday or Sunday at the registration zone.
Time limit Antwerp Marathon en Antwerp Relay Marathon
The time limit for the Antwerp Marathon and Relay Marathon is 5,5 hours. By order of the police the roads will be opened for traffic based on this pace. Those who run more slowly will be asked to stop their race or continue running at their own risk, without the roads being cordoned off. The finish closes at 15h40.

The start will be given at 09h30. You have 2.5 hours to reach the finish.
